About the speaker
Nancy Link Elliott has been an active member of the Columbia Weavers and Spinners’ Guild since 2010.
Over the years, she has served as a study group coordinator, vice-president, and president. Currently, she volunteers as the marketing coordinator for the Guild’s Holiday Exhibition and Sale.
Now retired, Nancy dedicates much of her creative energy to fiber arts and bookmaking, selling her creations at the Guild sale and Bluestem.
She studied art and biology in college and has had a diverse career encompassing lab work, teaching, nonprofit management, and administrative support.
Originally from the outskirts of Chicago, Nancy has lived across the US and spent a year in Tanzania. In 2008, she moved from San Antonio, TX, to Columbia, Missouri, where she enjoys her peaceful home surrounded by woods and a small prairie.
