About the speaker
As an Arizona native, I have always been inspired by this unique desert landscape and I reflect that in my art. My love for art started back when I was only 9 years old and that was when I did my first drawing. I thought it turned out really good and decided to teach myself new mediums and techniques.
My favorite mediums are watercolor and gouache, but I also dabble with oils, acrylics, and charcoal. Since I love trying new things, I have done a few mixed media pieces and have loved the way they turned out too. I have sold quite a few pieces at markets I've done; word of mouth and social media helps a lot as well. I've been recognized for my digital art skills at my job and host painting classes with my artist boyfriend. I really just want people to feel an emotion or connection with my artwork and inspire them. That's what keeps me going.
