About the speaker

Monica lives between worlds, Venezuelan by birth, Argentinian by roots, and Australian by choice. Between cultures and languages that are a day and a night apart, her life has unfolded through many paths, taken by both necessity and longing.
With her strong Spanish accent and often lost in English speakers’ jokes, she is deeply fluent in listening to people’s stories and connecting through our shared humanity.
Monica’s perspective on CAMINO is shaped by her migration experience and her search for belonging. She reflects on the gentle courage of choosing life-changing journeys filled with doubt, possibility and trust, while also walking alongside fellow companions on their own pilgrimages.
This talk is for anyone walking a path that feels uncertain, and for anyone quietly wondering whether they chose the “right” one.
