Michael Ng on Ritual

Michael heads the micro-content arm of Unfold Asia, the media group behind well-loved digital publisher “Our Grandfather Story”. From living funerals to love beyond disabilities, Unfold draws upon the timeless and overlooked stories in Singapore and South-East Asia, and presents them to the world in a variety of accessible formats - whether it be infographics, recipe videos, or regional, multi-part documentaries.

Every day, he gets to work with a team of brilliant and diverse creatives to produce content with meaning and purpose. Yes, it’s a dream job.

Outside his 9-6, he also has a passion for breaking; a form of movement that’s both a genre of street dance and a (recently viral) Olympic sport. Do a hobby long enough and it becomes a form of companionship, therapy, and self-expression - breaking is that to him.
