Megan O'Rene Stewart is a maker of safer space in Buffalo, NY. Through her cafe on Allen Street, Grindhaus, she remains true to the legacy of coffeehouses across the world–a space away from home, where people can experience the freedom to grow and explore among the company of others with a true sense of safety and belonging. She focuses her work on creating space for those who do not have an easy time accessing conventional space, treating all with respect and care as if they were family. Every aspect of what Grindhaus offers is focused on creating and maintaining this space.
Shakespeare in Delaware Park is a not-for-profit, professional theatre company dedicated to providing free, high-quality public theatre to the widest possible audience. Our goal is to enrich, inspire and entertain diverse audiences through performance and educational programming, with a focus on the works of William Shakespeare. We are committed to mentoring students and professionals, and offering adults and children opportunities to experience and appreciate live theatre.
