About this FieldTrip
Weâve become so dependent on phones do we even know how to read maps any more? And when was the last time you made your own map? In this FieldTrip weâll be getting lost and making your own hand-drawn maps. (NO artistic ability required.)
For this virtual workshop, participants should bring paper and their favorite pen (itâs good to have a ballpoint pen on hand too). If you have a banana (or orange, lemon, or other untraditional thing to map on) and paper napkin at home, please bring that too!
Letâs make maps + have some FUN!
âšWHAT TO EXPECT
âïžDisconnect and engage your creative juices with pen, paper, a napkin, a banana (oranges, lemons, sweet potatoes, toilet paper rolls work too!)âïžWe’ll be making 3 maps in the course of 1 hour. This is a fast paced workshop, but the joy comes from creative constraints.
âïž Anyone who is open to sharing will be invited to share their maps! (Use #MakeaMapFieldTrip to share online)

Anne Ditmeyer is a creative coach and workshop facilitator based in Paris, France. She regularly runs her workshops Write Your Own Rules and Mapping Your Path. Sheâs been exploring the world and the intersection between travel and design through PrĂȘt Ă Voyager since 2007 where her mantra is âtravel is not about where you go, but how you see the world.
