About the speaker
Maik Cox's musical journey began with eight years immersed in classical percussion, including
significant experience playing in an orchestra - a foundation for a rich musical odyssey. Graduating from the Pop Academy at 22, specializing as a composer, he contributed to the work
of over 30 artists, securing chart records. His solo projects showcased versatility and production
capabilities. Transitioning to DJing and live performances, Maik entertained audiences in 1500+
shows across The Netherlands, Spain and Portugal.
In 2020, a fortuitous exploration led him to Amp.Amsterdam, assuming roles as a music
producer, sonic branding specialist, and composer. Swiftly rising to Head of Music Production in
two years, his impact on successful and award winning campaigns reflects a profound passion
for film and advertising music, a testament to his remarkable journey and unwavering dedication
to the art of sound.
