Gazing at the clouds is a pointless activity, and that is exactly why it’s so important.
Mindfulness is this idea that you confront the emotions that you’re having right when they are happening instead of pushing them away. That has a lot to do too with the things you do on a regular basis. “Oh I need to call my mum, oh I need to make that appointment”. Instead of saying “Oh I’ll do it tomorrow” and letting it fester, creating this big ball of anxiety, to really confront it head on.
