Lucian Avramescu on PARALLEL

About the speaker
Lucian Avramescu, is a third-generation beekeeper with a deep passion for the fascinating world of bees. He manages an apiary with over 120 beehives, a place where nature and technology harmoniously intersect.
In the urban garden "Gradinescu," he organizes beekeeping workshops, apiary visits, and honey tastings, aiming to share the beauty and diversity of textures, colors, and flavors that this ancient art has to offer.
In addition to his beekeeping endeavours, he has built a solid career as an electronics engineer in the automotive industry, with over 18 years of experience and more than 10 years dedicated to project and team management. In 2024, he completed a master’s degree on "Using Blockchain Technology for the Traceability of Beekeeping Products," an initiative that merges innovative technology with the rich tradition of beekeeping. Since last year, he has been pursuing a PhD at the Life Science University in Timișoara, where I am researching the evolution of honey quality in the Banat region over the past half-century.
He will generously share his diverse experiences—from beekeeping to engineering and research—and contributing a unique perspective to PARALLEL.

GreenFeel has always been an inspiration space and place for the local communities! during the pandemic, one of the first live events we organised there and what a great memory that is! Within several other projects we got to meet the great people that responded to the call of the Founders - Cristina & Val - and Lucian is one of them! We are delighted to bring more of that community on stage, make their efforts known and celebrate what they do!
