About the speaker

Winifred is the founder and cake designer of Winifred Kristé Cake. She sees herself knee deep into both her roles as a creative entrepreneur and as a cake artist.

Winifred’s love for cakes and edible art dates back to 2010, where she found out by chance while taking a gap year because she was rejected by the university of her choice. In the fall of 2014, Ms Winifred moved to Washington D.C. where she worked at the reputable Maggie Austin Cake boutique to further fine-tune her skills. Winifred has also taken part in specialised assignments from cake and dessert spreads for Martha Stewart, to Victorian-styled sugar flowers vases that were commissioned by the First Lady of the U.S.A, Michelle Obama for the White House Christmas in 2014. Her journey didn’t stop there because she believes there is always something new to learn and to grow into. Winifred Kristé Cake was founded in 2015 and has since become the platform where Winifred continues to discover and explore the magic of what her passion for her art brings her.

Today, she has made cake commissions for many esteemed clients, on top of that, she loves mentoring- she has taught her edible art craft in different countries including USA, Malaysia, Indonesia & London. Her online courses have reached out to her international audience since the start of COVID. She continues to educate as much as she can and actively participates in any programs that help lend a helping hand to creative entrepreneurs.
