People whisperer and author Lily Clayton Hansen will host a conversation about magic with three, secret subjects of her choice. The dialogue will hit on how magic can influence our lives and careers in unexpected ways.

Native Chicagoan Lily Clayton Hansen always wanted to be a writer. In 2012, she headed to Nashville on a leap of faith where she discovered a superpower ability to extract information from her interview subjects. It is how the author and interviewer earned her nickname, the people whisperer. Hansen discovered conversation and connection drove her. The idea for Word of Mouth: Nashville Conversations was born as she sought the advice of Nashville’s most innovative entrepreneurs asking them, “How do you make a living doing what you love? And what lessons did you learn along the way?” The result is a multi-faceted portrait of the inventive, creative community and guidebook for aspiring entrepreneurs. Since its release in 2015, Lily has spawned a yearlong live interview series at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center and Vanderbilt Curb Center art exhibition inspired by her book. She is currently at work on her followup with photographers Joshua Black Wilkins and Ron Manville.
