Letha Pugh speaks on the theme of Monumental and the role we all play in shaping history.

Letha shares how small, personal moments, or “messages from the universe,” become monumental in our personal history. She also asks us to be aware of times when we all get to participate in collective monumental moments and can therefore contribute to something greater than ourselves.

About the speaker

A self described "entrepreneur" since the third grade, Letha was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She has lived in Columbus, Ohio since 2001 and has owned multiple small businesses, including a healthcare consulting firm, a home healthcare agency and most recently, a gluten free wholesale bakery and coffee shop since 2013. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska with a Bachelors’ Degree in Nursing and a Masters Degree in Information Systems from Florida Tech University. Letha is also a recent graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10K Small Businesses program, the first Columbus cohort and now part of an amazing network of entrepreneurs across the country. She is currently continues to be involved with 10K Small Voices, a small business advocacy group that works to affect policy change at the federal level. Balancing her small business interests with community involvement, is a passion. She served on the board of Stonewall Columbus and as President for one year, she is also the co-founding member of Black, Out and Proud (BOP) and Service, A relief effort for hospitality workers displaced from employment at the onset of COVID19. She recently accepted a board seat with The Womens Fund and is currently involved with the Economic Stability Committee, housed at the Urban League. Letha resides with her wife, Wendy, of 14 years and their 9 year old daughter, Avery, who is an amazing swimmer.
