About the speaker

Kim Bryden is a business leader with decades of experience at the intersection of food, entrepreneurship, and local economic development. As Founder and CEO of Cureate, she is building the infrastructure that connects small food and beverage businesses to institutional buyers, helping shift purchasing power back into local communities.

Over the course of her career, Kim has advised more than 400 small businesses on growth strategy, guiding founders to develop diversified revenue streams, strengthen operations, and access new markets. Her work spans both early-stage entrepreneurship and large-scale systems change, with a focus on creating pathways for small businesses to participate in complex supply chains.

Under her leadership, Cureate has redirected millions of dollars in institutional spend to local businesses while expanding its footprint across the Mid-Atlantic and Heartland regions. Kim also serves as Vice President of the Board of Ozark Natural Foods Co-op, is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, and a member of the Sandbox Network. She holds a Graduate Certificate from Georgetown University and a BA from American University.

Kim is committed to building businesses—and systems—that are profitable, inclusive, and built to last.
