平成20年代表取締役社長に就任。祖父の製作した唐紙パネルを倉庫で発見した日から、唐紙の無限の可能性に目覚めました。和室の減少に伴って唐紙も需要が低迷する中、“伝統と革新”のバランスを取りながら国内外の人々に唐紙の魅力を伝える。
Kazunori Nishimura was appointed President of Maruni in 2008. From the day he discovered karakami panels produced by his grandfather in the warehouse, he was awakened to the limitless possibilities of karakami. As the demand for karakami has declined following the decrease in the number of Japanese-style rooms, Maruni has been striving to strike a balance between tradition and innovation, and to convey the appeal of karakami to people in Japan and abroad.

6月15日（土）午前8時30分より、株式会社丸ニにて西村和紀社長のご厚意により、唐紙の歴史や伝統的な柄について学び、京唐紙独特の様々な文様を作るために必要な紙、版木、色、道具を学び、職人たちが京からかみを作っている部屋を特別に見学させていただくことになりました。 On Saturday June 15th at 8:30 am, the president of Maruni Kazunori Nishimura of will exceptionally allows us to see the room where the shokunin master artisans make karakami, the woodblock printed paper that is used for Japanese traditional sliding screens and wallpapers. We will be able to learn about the history of karakami and its traditional patterns, see the paper, woodblocks, colors and tools that are necessary to create the various patterns unique to kyo karakami.
