About the speaker
A scientist by training, arts and culture volunteer by chance, documentalist and content developer by choice, Katrina Wallace-Karenga has spent the last five years of a 20 year career in development management, heading a creative publishing team for a regional health organization producing multi-media products for their programmes across six countries as well as a diversity of other agencies, such as the UN, SADC, NGOs, human rights, arts and culture agencies and networks as well as local and national government offices and institutions.
Katrina’s creative philosophy is that your creative potential improves when you push yourself beyond borders, cultures, genres, sectors and your comfort zone and through working with and in multi-cultural and multi-functional teams.
