Karthik S S

Karthik SS, who also goes by SS 108, is a Chennai-based Surrealist artist and Creative Director. Since 2012, he has worked on building a distinctive art style, making compositions from arrays of circles and dots, which he propagates as sketches, stickers and murals. SS has painted for many art festivals and iconic locations in India, including St+Art; Theruvara – Lalithkala Academy, Kerala; Azim Premji University, Bengaluru and Disco Valley, Ladakh. He enjoys working on public walls (non-commercial), many of which can be found in Chennai, Auroville, Mahabalipurum and Thrissur.

SS also heads 108 Collective, an ever-expanding art and design network that collaborates on interior design, art direction and installations projects for establishments and companies across India. Fostering a bold and unconventional model of collaboration, SS runs 108 Collective much like an orchestra, bringing together communication, space, art and artists
