Joe is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Six Barrel Soda Co. a wonderful soda company from Wellington, NZ.

After a low-paid high-flying career as a cocktail bartender at some of the top bars in Melbourne, London and Paris, Joe moved back to Wellington to open a native plant filled outdoor caravan cafe in an empty Cuba St. car yard, then a Californian writer’s retreat styled bar/diner in Newtown before starting Six Barrel Soda Co. in 2012.

Joe is inspired by progress and the people and organisations driving it. He is a believer in sharing the hard times as well as the good times and the ability of this honesty to create change and help us stay sane. His talk will detail some of the hardest challenges he has faced in business, a sort of behind the scenes to the instagram sheen.
