About the speaker

JK Russ is originally from New Zealand and holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts from MIT Faculty of Creative Arts in Auckland. Working predominantly in the medium of collage, she has created interactive installations for the P3Studio at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, the Life is Beautiful festival, the Clark County Rotunda Gallery, and Delano Las Vegas. And after October 1, 2017, Russ worked with the City of Las Vegas to collate cards and notes for the touring Hearts4Vegas installation.
In addition to maintaining her art practice, Russ recently taught drawing at UNLV College of Fine Arts, and is currently the Arts Programs Coordinator at the Neon Museum.
