Jeff Corkran

Jeff hasn’t followed any normal path, much to his delight, and suggests you seek serendipity. He’s spent a career helping people change glimmers and sparks into brands, platforms, products, events, and communities, happily getting his hands dirty in the kitchen of ideas. takka, his new experience design and strategy concept, is centered on world positive impact, through systems thinking, meaningful experience design and the thoughtful use of technology for those waking up to doing better for communities, cultures, creatures, and the planet.

Some of his projects and collabs that led down this path include the United Nations SDG Action Campaign, the Vulcan/Discovery Channel film Racing Extinction, XPrize Future of Energy, The Unschool of Disruptive Design, Impact Mill, and loads more. He was previously VP Experience Strategy at Human Design in Boulder, part of the ZenCash team locally, owner of a UX/App Dev shop in Dallas and Atlanta for about a decade, a few years agency-side and a few more at a large consulting firm, making things for Chase, Brinks, Subaru, The Air Force, BMW, Mission Foods, and some big CPG and retail brands you’ve probably got on a shelf.

He’s also an advisor at Goodwork, helped launch Dallas Startupweek and several other event and content series. Find him volunteering or mentoring with organizations like The Hunt Institute at SMU, SXSW, HackDFW, ArtCon and constantly seeking the potential in connecting good people to good people.
