About the speaker

Jasmine LeFlore is a dynamic leader, recognized as one of the Top 50 Women of Influence in
Technology by the San Diego Business Journal. She is the Co-founder and Executive Director
of Greater Than Tech, a nonprofit dedicated to cultivating the next generation of tech leaders by
immersing girls and underserved students in the intersection of STEM and business. LeFlore
recently gave a compelling TEDx talk on the concept of the un-resume, where she shared her
personal journey of overcoming systemic challenges, family loss, and academic setbacks while
highlighting the unseen work that defines success beyond traditional resumes.
At Collins Aerospace (An RTX company), she works on applied research and technology solutions,
processes, roadmaps and strategies that serve cross business unit needs. She previously worked as
a chief of staff for the VP of engineering on key business transformation initiatives as well as in
project roles interfacing with suppliers and customers certifying air management systems and engine
build-up equipment on commercial and regional jets.
LeFlore holds a BSE in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, an MSE in
Interdisciplinary Engineering from Purdue University, and an MBA from Indiana University. Her
accolades include the 2023 NAACP San Diego Branch Freedom Fund Award, San Diego
Magazine's Woman Builder of the Year, and the San Diego County Engineering Council's 2022
Outstanding Engineering Service Award. As a RISE San Diego Gen 7 Fellow, LeFlore continues to
champion diversity and inclusion, inspiring the next generation of leaders. A native of Flint, MI, she is
a passionate advocate for education, business, and community-driven change.
