Taking a chance on something or someone can be a heart-stoppingly terrifying experience. The unconventional route can hold many traps and pitfalls, but once you’ve overcome these risks you’ll often find yourself with a seriously inspiring, valuable, and ingenious result, one that otherwise may never have existed. The work of our November 2014 speaker, James Hurman, is testament to that. Having crafted an impressively successful career, James shared with us his personal tales of the power and beauty of chance.
