We are more than delighted to welcome Ioana Bugarin as a speaker in our local CreativeMornings Timisoara community! She has long-before been part of our local cultural scene ever since she was a child, but this time she comes as a special guest of the film festival Ceau, Cinema! She has a central role in two Romanian movies, premiered in 2020. „Mia îşi ratează răzbunarea” (2020), by Bogdan Theodor Olteanu, presented at the film festival of Wasaw, “Otto Barbarul” (2020), by Ruxandra Ghiţescu, selected for the Sarajevo Film Festival competition as well as the short movies „Despre noi”, by Ruxandra Ghiţescu and „Basmofilia”, by Tudor Cristian Jurgiu, also premiered this year.

She’s been studying acting both in Bucharest and London and since 2019 she is a full-time collaborator of Odeon Theater in Bucharest.

She will give us her view on MATRIARCHY this Friday, July 16th, talking about the complex situations of women on and off screen in the artistic world.

The event is in a hybrid form, with limited seating in an outdoor venue and streaming online on Zoom, Facebook and Instagram.
