About the speaker
Hi, I am Florin and I love stories.
At a professional level, I worked in different areas: administration, cultural management, youth, creative industries and I took from each experience what I thought would help me in defining the best version of myself. I worked in the public administration area for more than ten years. I have been involved in various projects in the social and cultural area. Their common denominator was the local community. Afterwards, I left the public administration for a while and joined the NGO sector where, together with my colleagues, I managed an ambitious project: the candidacy of the city of Cluj-Napoca for the title of the European Capital of Culture. In 2018 I founded a creative workshop, MOTH. Here we give a new meaning to the "bad, faulty wood" and create unique tables and coffee tables from salvaged wood.
For some time now, I have been curious and interested in the phenomenon of creativity and I am constantly searching for answers to the questions: why are some people more creative than others and how can we enhance our creativity?
I also believe that each of us lives in a plane of reality where we are a sum of individual characteristics placed in a well-defined and yet random context. At the same time, we yearn for a "wannabe", meaning an improved version of features placed in ideal contexts.
