About this FieldTrip

Welcome to the New Year! It’s that exciting time when we get to turn the page and begin a fresh new chapter filled with possibilities.

However, to realize those wonderful new possibilities you’ll need to leave last year’s old limiting thoughts behind; old thoughts such as, “I’m not good enough,” “I’m not as smart or capable as people think,” or “It’s only a matter of time before people find out I’m a fraud?”

What you’ve been hearing inside your head is the voice of your Inner Critic. We all have one. It’s that familiar voice who constantly makes comments, passes judgment, and issues dire warnings of impending failure.

Your Inner Critic discourages you from taking ambitious action that can help you grow, seize new opportunities, and achieve next-level success.

We creatives are vulnerable to the Inner Critic and the insecurity, self-doubt, and procrastination it can create. But we can also learn to turn things to our advantage…and when you do, you’ll open new possibilities.

When you transform your relationship to the Inner Critic, you can take the lid off what’s possible for you to achieve in the year ahead! Join me to find out how.

✨WHAT TO EXPECT

Here’s what we’ll explore in this lively interactive FieldTrip:

✔️ First, you’ll learn who the Inner Critic is … and why you have one? You’ll also discover what your Inner Critic’s motivation is for undermining your confidence and how to catch the Inner Critic in action

✔️ We’ll do brief writing exercises that will reveal your Inner Critic’s “Greatest Hits”

✔️How to marshal your inner resources to prevail over doubts

✔️ Most importantly, you’ll learn a simple, proven process to quickly transform old, self-doubts, insecurities, and limiting beliefs into new, empowering confidence for success You will leave the session with a new sense of empowerment and mastery over the voice of your Inner Critic!

✔️ And create a simple action plan for moving forward

🎒What To Know Before Hand

✔️ We’ll be doing some writing exercises, so bring your note-taking/journaling tool of choice.

How to make the most of FieldTrips

The FieldTrips experience is defined not only by what the host has to share, but also by how we show up individually and collectively. The way we show up impacts our capacity to be moved, inspired, and activated.

Show up fully

Get ready to be immersed! Engage with smiles, nods, waves, emojis. Share in the chat. Get cozy. Turn off notifications. Sip your favorite beverage.

Stay curious

Wear your beginner’s hat. Go with the flow. Welcome the stumbles and fumbles. Congratulate yourself for trying. Keep going!

Celebrate your host

Our hosts are members of the CreativeMornings community—just like you! Everyone comes to this with different backgrounds—a lot of our hosts have never done anything like this before! And we love that! Cheer them on when something goes awry and when it goes perfectly.

Support each other

We’re all figuring things out in real time. Celebrate, rather than critique emerging ideas. Cheer each other on as you try new things.  Try “Yes! And…” in conversation.

Not vibing?

It’s 100% okay when a FieldTrip does not resonate with you. Pop out quietly and try another experience later. Fill out the survey with your feedback (no dms to host or chat commentary, please.)
