About the speaker

The winner of Miss Universe Singapore 2000, Eunice was appointed a Nominated Member of Parliament in 2004, making her the youngest ever at the age of 27 to go on and serve two terms. A recipient of the Singapore Youth Award, Eunice has been conferred the prestigious ASEAN Youth Award and became a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader in 2008. Women’s empowerment, gender equality, people with disabilities, sustainability, and media ethics are issues that she advocates for.

She has given the keynote at the Cartier Women's Awards, and been engaged to speak and moderate panels and forums at Harvard, the UN, Google, Twitter, the National University of Singapore, Singapore Management University, INSEAD, the Indian Institute of Management, The Swedish Embassy Singapore, Johnson & Johnson and Deloitte.

She is the founder of Eunice Olsen Media, a communications consultancy and oral communications training company that helps corporates, governments, communities, and students focus on values, storytelling, and authenticity in communications, to help them be more constructive and effective in their communication journey, and build more impactful and trustworthy relationships with peers, partners, customers, and the media.

Eunice is also the creator of WomenTalk.com, which celebrates extraordinary everyday women in Asia through videos, podcasts, and live web chats.
