About the speaker
Douglas Dollars was born a Leo in the 20th Century and has been turning oxygen into awesomeness and whatever else he could since, and ain't nothing killed him yet. In the last two years, Doug has created How to Douglas, a newsletter which reminds Edmontonians that the city is still alive on weekends, a cocktail bitters company, and a few other things like a t-shirt idea for Rich Cats.

Founded in 1973 by a collective of Edmonton artists, Latitude 53 is a not-for-profit artist-run centre. We provide a non-coercive environment to assure the freedom of the artist, and give the public access to new art forms. Latitude 53 supports the research and development of new artistic practices and concepts, and encourages experimentation by artists through diverse programming.
