Don Willie

Hosted at WatchTower Cafe

part of a series on Moments

About the speaker

Don Willie is one of the founders of The Emerging Leaders of Utah Initiative, which aims to engage young professionals (ages 18-35) in their local, state and national government. Their hashtag this month is #MillenialMoment, so we thought he would be great to help us have a conversation about seizing each of out individual moments, whatever they are.

Don also is the Rural Outreach Program Manager of World Trade Center Utah and was previously at the Utah Commission on Service and Volunteerism where he served as the Utah AmeriCorps Program Director and managed the State’s $3.2M AmeriCorps Grant. He has worked in various roles in the Office of Governor Gary R. Herbert, the most recent of which was Policy Analyst, serving under the Deputy for State and Federal Relations. Don is a proud husband and father of two.
