What are FieldTrips?
FieldTrips are meetups to interact, learn and collaborate in an effort to level-up your creative life.
We’re limiting these events to only 25 people, they’re like an intimate dinner party. Your absence will be felt so please make sure that you can definitely attend if you sign up. Also, we’re in the prototyping phase, so come with an open mind and be prepared for anything.
Thanks for participating! We’re lucky to have you.
Do Not Not Touch
– Hosted at Tangible Interaction
part of a series on Taboo
About this FieldTrip
Be part of art in the making, immerse yourself in a creative process with no taboos or boundaries. Interact, touch, feel, and get inspired. This field trip takes us to Tangible Interaction where we’ll find art installations that evoke curiosity, create a sense of wonder and invite people to play. Each new project Tangible takes on is an opportunity to make something that’s never been done before. It’s all about creating ways for people to come together and interact.
Join us for an exclusive studio tour to interact with some of Tangible’s latest creations and see where all the magic happens.
It’ll be a hands-on day, be ready to play!
About your host:
Tangible Interaction creates sensory installations that tap into some of the most basic human instincts — to play and explore. They strives to create work that generates conversation and allows people to share a magical experience.
Tangible is led by founder and creative director, Alex Beim. The team is a diverse mix of talent spanning graphic, industrial and audio design as well as programming, electronics engineering and production.
Enter through the loading dock entrance of the Parker Building on George Street and a Tangible team member will be at the front door to take people up to Studio 304 — the building is a bit of a labyrinth!
