Ambient Musician + Writer.
Soundscapes have an origin in the film soundtrack industry, but these days most people are familiar with them through meditation and focus apps.
As the creator of Infinity Waves, an ambient label, join along with Elliott Fienberg and learn different ways to get started making your own soundscapes. This is great for anyone who wants to expand their creative pallette, but also yoga + meditation instructors, healers and musicians will find useful takeaways from this workshop as well.
We will take a look at using tools like the Voice Memos app on your phone, the web app Bandlab and more tools to add to your kit.
Elliott Fienberg is a “slashie” who works in music and marketing. Having experience composing music for video games such as Orphan Black: The Game, Elliott has been busy making ambient and soundscapes music with his independent label Infinity Waves which is available on all streaming sites. He also writes a newsletter called The Most Creative which gives actionable strategies for helping people tap into doing their Most Creative Work.
Elliott serves as the President of the Board of Directors for New Adventures in Sound Art, where he helps guide the organization in its quest to share the love of sound art with enthusiasts in Canada and around the world.

The FieldTrips experience is defined not only by what the host has to share, but also by how we show up individually and collectively. The way we show up impacts our capacity to be moved, inspired, and activated.
Get ready to be immersed! Engage with smiles, nods, waves, emojis. Share in the chat. Get cozy. Turn off notifications. Sip your favorite beverage.
Wear your beginnerâs hat. Go with the flow. Welcome the stumbles and fumbles. Congratulate yourself for trying. Keep going!Â
Our hosts are members of the CreativeMornings communityâjust like you! Everyone comes to this with different backgroundsâa lot of our hosts have never done anything like this before! And we love that! Cheer them on when something goes awry and when it goes perfectly.
Weâre all figuring things out in real time. Celebrate, rather than critique emerging ideas. Cheer each other on as you try new things. Try âYes! AndâŠâ in conversation.
Itâs 100% okay when a FieldTrip does not resonate with you. Pop out quietly and try another experience later. Fill out the survey with your feedback (no dms to host or chat commentary, please.)
