About the speaker
Arunkumar Periysamy aka Arun Kombai is an avid rider and explorer. With a keen eye for details, he draws attention to what our eyes generally miss. He has 17 years of experience in visual and creative design.
His attempt was to add value to the exceptional Tamil words which are not yet visually represented and to create a compodium of Tamil words. His typographic exploration in Tamil and Kongu Tamil has been appreciated in many platforms. His explorations, inspirations, outcomes are based on his respect and reverence for the language Tamil and her legacy, which he passes on by mentoring people in Tamil Typography. Typography @Thamizh.Aru and Photography @TheTeaBoy are his passion projects.

We celebrate this month’s theme of Design with our speaker Arunkumar Periyasamy. A mind that sees things differently, a myriad of perspectives to learn and to look at the world, even if for a short time, through the eyes of a designer is going to be our experience at this session.
