About the speaker
Dayna Del Val, president & CEO The Arts Partnership, is a proven leader in arts advocacy and arts administration. The Arts Partnership launched the very successful #supportlocalart campaign as well as opening Aptitude, 19 creative artists studios inside West Acres mall. Dayna has worked tirelessly to advocate for more investment in the arts from Metro leaders in business, economics, government and higher ed, and in January, the board of Fueling Our Future voted unanimously to fund a pilot program called Campus FM based on Campus Philly, a program Dayna heard abut three years ago and brought to town in late 2019, with The Arts Partnership and seven other nonprofits in town to use the arts as a tool for the workforce challenges of attraction and retention of college-aged students and young employees.
Additionally, she is a professional SAG-AFTRA actor. She launched the original Legendary tourism ads for the state of North Dakota, but for some reason, everyone seems to focus on the Josh Duhamel ones instead. 😉 And finally, she writes the blog extraordinaryextraordinary, where she directs being at the intersection of remarkable and so, so ordinary.
