David Joo

David Joo is a papermaker and origami artist based in Charlottesville, VA. Since graduating at UVA with a degree in chemistry and music, he has focused on an artistic practice pursuing new expressions in folded paper. Most recently, he is interested in the expansive role that the material of paper plays in culture and has just completed the one-year Incubator Residency at the McGuffey Art Center.
