David Ewing

Center 615

part of a series on Preserve

About the speaker

David Ewing is a ninth generation Nashville native, chosen recently by the Nashville Scene as Nashville's "Best Historian." He's got the resume to back it up, having served on the board of the Parthenon, as well as three of Nashville's most important historic homes: The Hermitage, Traveller's Rest, and Cheekwood.

After years of being asked by friends and colleagues to take visitors (from C-suite executives to garden club members) on insider tours of Nashville, David decided to make his passion his business -- he gives completely custom tours of Nashville as "Nashville history on tour."

David is bringing his knowledge and experience to CreativeMornings to talk to us about what preservation means, who it's for, and what it's like to turn something that you do better than everyone else -- or just differently -- into a business.

Oh, and we'll get a chance to quiz him about Nashville landmarks and connections to history, so think about something you've always wanted to know more about!
