Additional details

We are excited to announce our November speaker and venue! David Alb has been a long time supported of our creative communities and now we are finally confirming him as a speaker as well! His lecture on THREAD will take place at another community project he has supported - USVT Campus HUB.

Have you ever pulled on a loose thread in a sweater or sock? Things can unravel quickly.

The creative process can feel like that. A nagging thought, an imperfect bit, or a big tangled mess. But maybe that thread is trying to tell you something. Follow it and see where it takes you.

Because thread is both a physical and metaphorical tool of creativity. In film and literature, a “thread” is the progression of a plot line or theme that helps tie the narrative together. While in sewing, weaving, embroidery, and knitting, the “thread” physically embellishes and holds the piece together.

No wonder a loose thread is so hard to ignore.

It turns out that all the good and bad in your life is forming a beautiful tapestry.

With over 10 years of knowledge in entrepreneurship, David Alb is the CEO of Senneville, a manufacturer of cakes and pastry products, an entrepreneurial business launched in Timisoara. The company he leads relies on development through exports, for which he has budgeted investments of 16 million euros over the next two years, including production.

David wants to contribute with other creative people to transforming the food market in Romania from one that primarily consumes imported products to one that produces and exports. We can accomplish this together by promoting and bringing traditional Romanian products as close as possible to the final consumer on the shelves of all stores.

Tickets are out November 18th! Book your calendars and see you soon! <3
