Startup powerhower Crystal Widjaja has lived many “Parallel” lives before she became the Chief of Staff at Gojek, and then an angel investor, advisor, and the co-founder of Indonesian non-profit Girl Generation. She shares her story with us in this talk!

Crystal Widjaja is a product and growth practitioner with experience leading some of the fastest growing companies in Asia. Her most popular content include Why Most Analytics Efforts Fail, Lenny Rachitsky's Podcast: How to scrappily hire for, measure, and unlock growth, and her co-authored Data for Product Managers course with Shaun Clowes.

Previously, Crystal was SVP of Growth and Data at Gojek, a “super app” for multiple consumer service businesses. Gojek completes more rides per day than Lyft; more food deliveries than GrubHub, Uber Eats, and DoorDash combined; and is the #1 mobile wallet across Southeast Asia. During her 5-year tenure, Crystal helped grow Gojek from 30K to over 5M orders per day. Her last role at Gojek was as Chief of Staff to the co-CEOs of the 6000+ large decacorn.

Crystal is an Angel investor through the Monk's Hill and Sequoia Scout programs, a former EIR and current Subject Matter Expert at Reforge, advisor to companies including Scale.AI, AB-inBev, Maze, Carousell, CRED, and Eppo, and cofounder of Generation Girl, a non-profit focused on increasing STEM access for young women in Indonesia. Crystal has been named Forbes 30 Under 30, 2021 Marketech APAC Leader of the year, and HerWorld's Woman of the Year.
