About this Club
The recent explosion of any possible AI tool you could think of means that anyone can create their own bit of personal software. This can be a fun way to boost your own creativity – and also to help create a world where technology can be fun and unique (think 2000s internet MySpace era).
This club will be for anyone who is interested in vibe coding (having AI code for you) and/or has a creative idea for a digital project but not sure where to get started.
✨WHAT TO EXPECT
✔️ At the beginning (20-30 min) I will show some techniques to get started with AI tools to build your own digital projects✔️ Depending on the level/experience of the participants, we will use either out-of-the-box super beginner friendly tools or something more advanced / requiring more setup
✔️ Then everyone will work on whatever they want to create (e.g. a personalised journaling app, a tool to find the perfect playlist based on weather, etc etc – could be anything)
✔️ In the end we will share our projects and give comments/feedback!
✔️ In the future, we could also kick off with people sharing what they have worked on so far!
🎒WHAT TO KNOW OR BRING
✔️ Just bring your laptop✔️ You might need to install some software like Figma or Cursor, but don’t worry, I’ll walk you through the process!
ABOUT YOUR HOST
I’m a cognitive scientist turned designer, and I’ve always struggled shaping my (professional) identity and being pulled between my technical and creative side. I’ve recently started experimenting with building little creative projects using AI tools, and it feels like these sides can finally co-exist! I truly believe that everyone is creative and can express that creativity if they have the right tools. I would like to share how these new tools can be used to make your ideas come to life!
