About the speaker
Shayna Velasquez is a motivator, connector, and creative leader dedicated to building meaningful experiences for people and communities. A Grand Valley State University alumna, she earned her degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the School of Communications.
Shayna is the founder of the Builders Club, a social club for women launching brands and businesses, fostering connection, growth, and community. She currently serves as the Community Engagement Manager at the Grand Rapids Art Museum, where she leads programs, partnerships, and collaborations that bring artists, entrepreneurs, and organizations together to create engaging, memorable experiences.
In addition, Shayna oversees GRAM’s Visionnaire Executive Committee, a select group of creatives, artists, and organization leaders who brainstorm, collaborate, and serve as ambassadors for the Museum in the broader community.
As a facilitator, curator, and creative strategist, Shayna is passionate about creating spaces where people can connect, be inspired, and thrive.
