This month’s speaker is Aili Huber. She is a director, dramaturg, actor, and activist for healthy theater workplaces. She has directed plays professionally for 20 years, all over the country. Her “Take 5” framework for building supportive theater workplaces is used at theaters large and small.
On May 29, she will talk about what CREATE means to her: What does it look like when “create” is an invitation rather than an initiative? Using the example of “a porch that wanted to be a stage when it grew up,” Aili will share about listening for and accepting invitations—from others, from spaces, from one’s deepest self—as a grounded engine for creation.
