About the speaker
If you haven’t seen, CreativeMornings is doing a monthlong global celebration of creativity, culminating in Release Day on May 29th. The whole idea is about giving our personal creative projects a collective deadline.
In honor of that, the Philly chapter is doing our spin on it.
No speaker this month. Instead we’re handing the mic over to six brave members of our community for a SHOW N' TELL of their personal projects. Big or small, finished or barely started. Get up and share a 2-minute, one-slide, live presentation about something you're making.
We're looking for submissions that highlight both the project and the process behind it. An album in progress, a sketch-art series, a design for your veggie garden, the first chapter of your book, a wireframe for your new app... share details of the work and describe how your ideas and execution are evolving.
Whether it's something you're aiming to finish by May 29, something still in the works, or a hobby that keeps your creativity flowing, we want to see it, and we want to know how it makes you FEEL. How has it changed you? How has it challenged you? What have you learned?
Want to be one of the six? –> details + submit here
Then we’re turning the rest of the morning over to the group for a participatory activity that gets at the heart of why we put off the things that matter to us.
We're going to dig into why we procrastinate, what we're really waiting for, and how to get our projects out of our heads and into the world.
So join us for this special CreativeMornings to get your creative juices flowing and inspired to launch your next big project!
