Ajaibghar

Blending art, code, and cultural inquiry, Ajaibghar is a creative technology studio led by Computational Mama and Nanditi. As Godrej Design Lab Fellows 2025, they are exploring how design with code can be rooted in local contexts.

Their keystone project - code.drift - transforms live-coded visuals and music into site-responsive performances inspired by the rhythms of Indian cities. By drawing from the dérive and lived urban experiences, they create generative artworks that are expressive, place-based, and participatory.

Through this fellowship, Ajaibghar is expanding code.drift into a year-long journey across India, nurturing new creative coding communities and opening up new possibilities for technology in design.
