What are Clubs?
CreativeMorning Clubs are community-led, hyper-local, intimate gatherings around something you love.
Clubs can be recurring or drop-in and can range from hobbies and hang-outs, to skill-building and anything in between.
Cowork & Mingle (Low budget cat café edition)
• – • New York, 10001
About this Club
This is a casual coworking + mingle event for people trying to get things done without making productivity their entire personality. Some people come to work quietly, some come to meet new people, and some honestly just need to be around other humans instead of rotting alone with 47 tabs open.
You’re welcome to bring a laptop, sketchbook, homework, side project, startup idea, or absolutely nothing important at all. There’s no formal structure, no weird networking pressure, and no expectation to “have it all figured out.”
Also, our CFO (Chief Feline Officer) Pico will be there supervising operations. Part of the experience is simply hanging out with a cat while pretending to answer emails. Pico contributes very little financially but a lot emotionally.
Think of it less like a networking event and more like: “a bunch of NYC people trying to work, talk, exist, and pet a cat for two hours.”

ABOUT YOUR HOST
Hi! I’m Kai! A tax practitioner and the founder of Nuvex Advisory Partners. Outside of taxes, I’m also the human of a rescue cat named Pico. Pico was adopted, runs the household, and occasionally supervises important things like whether your drawing looks enough like a cat. Through Nuvex, a NYC base tax firm, we partner with local animal charities and donate a portion of our proceeds to support rescue organizations and shelters. And if you ever need a tax professional or accountant, you’re always welcome to reach out! Pico and Nuvex will make sure your books are handled properly (though Pico mainly specializes in moral support and sitting on paperwork).
