Colin LaVaute

Colin LaVaute is a born and bred Mid-Missourian. He leans heavily into the trope of the "resourceful Missourian" and relishes making something out of nothing with what is available to him at any given time. His creative endeavors reach across many mediums. He is the CEO of LV Creative, a digital marketing agency that produces videography, photography, social media content, and targeted marketing for over 20 retainer clients. He is the lead singer and producer of the rock act Decadent Nation and he is the host of the NPR Music show The Big Muddy Music Hour. He studied Fine Arts Photography and English at the University of Missouri where he earned his Bachelor's Degree. Most recently, LaVaute has added Director to his resume as LV Creative became fully funded for a feature-length documentary film titled ((hero)).
