Danielle Robles

Creative Director & Story Strategist at Studio DR.

Los Angeles, CA, USA

I’m a multicultural creative director, writer, and storyteller exploring identity, culture, and creative reinvention. With a background in editorial and brand storytelling, I’ve worked with brands like ELLE, ClassPass, NYFW, and eBay to craft narratives that feel heartfelt and culturally resonant.

At its core, my work is rooted in helping creatives and brands uncover their authentic voice and translate it into meaningful stories, campaigns, and experiences. I’m incredibly passionate about amplifying underrepresented perspectives and creating spaces where women and multi-hyphenates can reclaim their power.

About this FieldTrip

For creatives, makers, and multi-hyphenates who’ve ever struggled to put their brilliance into words, this writing workshop offers a space to explore what truly drives your work. Through guided writing prompts and storytelling exercises, we’ll begin to unravel the golden thread that connects your skills and purpose and start developing ways to communicate it clearly and confidently.

You’ll reflect, write, and share in community as you practice articulating your creative identity with more confidence and clarity.

My hope is that you leave with a deeper understanding of how to express the “why” behind what you do, and the makings of a one-line manifesto that feels true to you.

Agenda

  • Opening Conversation: We’ll talk about the creative landscape and why being a multidimensional creative is actually a superpower, not a hindrance. And why finding your golden thread can help you better market yourself and your skills out in the world.

  • Deep Writing Exercises & Live Workshopping: Using guided writing prompts, we’ll spend some time journaling together on topics like your values, your dream career, and ideal clients. As we’re writing and discovering new things about our work, you’ll be invited to share in community via group chat.

  • Time to Share: We’ll take a few minutes to share our “superpowers” and any themes coming up as we’re working through things before getting into co-writing our one-sentence manifesto.

  • Reflections & Takeaways: Lastly, we'll close with a group discussion and chat through next steps!

What to know or bring

  • A pen and paper (or something to write on!)

How to make the most of FieldTrips

The FieldTrips experience is defined not only by what the host has to share, but also by how we show up individually and collectively. The way we show up impacts our capacity to be moved, inspired, and activated.

Show up fully

Get ready to be immersed! Engage with smiles, nods, waves, emojis. Share in the chat. Get cozy. Turn off notifications. Sip your favorite beverage.

Stay curious

Wear your beginner’s hat. Go with the flow. Welcome the stumbles and fumbles. Congratulate yourself for trying. Keep going!

Celebrate your host

Our hosts are members of the CreativeMornings community—just like you! Everyone comes to this with different backgrounds—a lot of our hosts have never done anything like this before! And we love that! Cheer them on when something goes awry and when it goes perfectly.

Support each other

We’re all figuring things out in real time. Celebrate, rather than critique emerging ideas. Cheer each other on as you try new things.  Try “Yes! And…” in conversation.

Not vibing?

It’s 100% okay when a FieldTrip does not resonate with you. Pop out quietly and try another experience later. Fill out the survey with your feedback (no dms to host or chat commentary, please.)
