The Travelling Font Salesman

I'm a morning person. I like to wake up and do something before somebody asks me to do something for them.

Some fonts are like people. They can be attractive, even if they're not pretty.

"Computers make it very easy to do everything correctly, and I like to make some mistakes."

"I've made hundreds of fonts. Probably about five to eight hundred fonts and they're all not Helvetica."

I saw the liquor store sign, and I thought 'I should make a font called Liquor Store!', and then I did.
