TLDR; While this event will be virtual, we have opportunities to attend in-person! Look below for information on watch parties.

In 2015, at a coffee/book shop in the heart of downtown, CreativeMornings/Dallas began. Great memories, good conversations, memorable breakfasts, and shared moments have abounded ever since.

This month we celebrate our birthday with the theme DESIGN, a fitting theme. Many of us design- for our jobs and for fun. But even beyond the traditional crafts, we all design our lives. The team behind CMDAL designs the events and community gatherings. Design is all around us: creating something from nothing.

Linda Joseph We are honored to have our very own CMDAL community member, Linda Joseph speaking with us this month. Linda is a Creative Director in the MediaLab at Corgan, where she conceptualizes and directs a wide variety of project types such as renderings, motion graphics, videos, animations, and immersive experiences such as VR and AR. Before that she was in the Digital Design department at Fossil for a little over fifteen years. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a BFA in Communication Design. In her spare time, she serves on the board for the DFW chapter of AIGA, the professional association for design, as their Director of Diversity & Inclusion. She lives in East Dallas with her husband Anish and their chocolate Labrador Retriever, Jackie Brown.

ATTEND A WATCH PARTY

To celebrate our birthday, we are designing watch parties: an IRL way to watch CreativeMornings. These will be small groups spread across town, who will participate in our virtual CM experience, with the addition of high fives. Bring a smile and bring your own coffee!
