About the speaker

Whether it be day or night, his love for creating shareable brand stories or telling magical tales is what he always keeps in mind.

He is currently the Executive Creative Director of MRM//McCann Manila, the digital discipline of McCann Worldgroup Philippines.

He oversees a team of 19 digital creatives: a mix of copywriters, art directors, designers, techno-geeks, and mad scientists. Together with two creative directors, they handle the digital and integrated campaigns of some of the top brands in the Philippines: Coca-Cola, Nescafé, Coffee-Mate, Maggi, Kit Kat, Jollibee, and Philippine Airlines.

To properly execute their campaigns, he coordinates their projects with MRM’s Products Division, the Media Department, and Social Command Division, which is in charge of managing the brands’ social network communities.

Their campaigns have won several local and foreign award shows. These achievements have lead to MRM winning Campaign Asia’s Digital Agency of the Year for four straight years (2011 – 2014).

In between all of that work, Budjette still manages to write graphic novels. His creator-owned comic book TRESE has won three Philippine Book Awards for Best Graphic Literature. His most recent award was won for his fantasy comic book MIKEY RECIO AND THE SECRET OF THE DEMON DUNGEON.
