Gabrielle Touchette on theme of Touch

Do you see yourself as a creative person? What does “being creative” even mean? Is the term “a creative” limited to a very small, elite group of skilled artists? Gabrielle explores the idea that all humans have a touch of creativity in them, even if we don’t feel or recognize it. With the help of a brown potato, a harrowing ordeal on a California freeway and brain function research, Gabrielle shares how limitations and inadequacies could be the key to creative flourishing.

About the speaker

I'm a full time photographer based in Winnipeg specializing in portrait and commercial photography. I started my business in 2008 after obtaining a diploma from PrairieView School of Photography. Earlier in my career I taught photography at PrairieView and worked mainly as a wedding and family photography. Currently, my photography work is mostly focused on family portraits and commercial photography for local businesses. I also create and teach various photography workshops in small groups and one-on-one for photographers in my community.
