Exa Kutler

Former Head of Community at CreativeMornings.

Brooklyn

I’m Exa, based in Brooklyn, where I work as the Head of Community at CreativeMornings.

At the heart of my work is a desire to support adults in feeling confident, curious, and compassionate in the face of creative learning, personal reflection, and everyday life.

I live in Brooklyn with my dog Jack Charles. I love sparkles, making indiepop music, and I draw cartoons with a non-binary character named bean, and help out with The Strangers Project.

About this FieldTrip

Step into your power as a facilitator. Create memories that induce nostalgia for years. Are people looking at their phones at your meeting and party? Is your event forgotten within a week? Do you have no idea how to create a sense of unity? Do you want people to invite themselves to your event? Do you want them to ask you “When is your next party?!”

In this fast and fun facilitation FieldTrip, The Party Scientist will provide answers to the following questions.

✔ How do I embody more joyfulness?

✔ How do I facilitate peak experiences?

✔ How do I adapt my joy for virtual setting?

Jacques will offer you 4 immediate habits for embodying joy and igniting it in gatherings of humans. These 4 habits underpin the Framework of F.Q. — the Fun Quotient.

✹WHAT TO EXPECT

✔We will begin with an energizer and connection exercise.

✔ We will jump into breakout rooms and share some insights with our peers.

✔ In turn, Jacques will share an interactive presentation on the 4 joy habits.

✔ Finally, we will enter breakout rooms to share our takeaways with our peers.

✔ There will be a short Q&A for those who don’t leave.

❀This FieldTrip is Interactive

This FieldTrip is interactive and includes optional Breakout Rooms. If you do not want to be in a room, please add an ** to the front of your zoom name when you arrive!

How to make the most of FieldTrips

The FieldTrips experience is defined not only by what the host has to share, but also by how we show up individually and collectively. The way we show up impacts our capacity to be moved, inspired, and activated.

Show up fully

Get ready to be immersed! Engage with smiles, nods, waves, emojis. Share in the chat. Get cozy. Turn off notifications. Sip your favorite beverage.

Stay curious

Wear your beginner’s hat. Go with the flow. Welcome the stumbles and fumbles. Congratulate yourself for trying. Keep going!

Celebrate your host

Our hosts are members of the CreativeMornings community—just like you! Everyone comes to this with different backgrounds—a lot of our hosts have never done anything like this before! And we love that! Cheer them on when something goes awry and when it goes perfectly.

Support each other

We’re all figuring things out in real time. Celebrate, rather than critique emerging ideas. Cheer each other on as you try new things.  Try “Yes! And
” in conversation.

Not vibing?

It’s 100% okay when a FieldTrip does not resonate with you. Pop out quietly and try another experience later. Fill out the survey with your feedback (no dms to host or chat commentary, please.)
