About the speaker

Saumya Mittal, an independent graphic designer in Mumbai and London College of Communication graduate, boasts extensive experience in branding, editorial, and information design. She's collaborated with prestigious entities like the UN, Wateraid, Godrej Interio, as well as startups such as Monk’s Brew Club and Tessera.

Her personal work delves into various facets of Indian culture using data, covering topics like religion, food, gender, marriage, mental health, and the environment. Featured in the DXD 20 under 35 exhibition, her series 'From Statistics to Stories' is showcased at Fluxus Chapel and was also displayed at the Bombay Zine Festival.

Saumya recently launched her own studio, called From&To, specializing in information, editorial, and visual identity design. Notably, the studio's inaugural project secured two Kyoorious awards in 2023 for exceptional branding and illustration.
