About the speaker
A misfit engineer, startup enthusiast, and wannabe sportsman, that's all the adjectives for Arvind! While the curricular world may have lured him in with circuits and codes, the allure of sports truly set his heart pounding.
From dabbling in multiple sports across state and national levels to finally finding his heart amidst the rhythmic waves of Chennai, he realised that discovering passion has its pulse & timing and he found his beat in Sailing!
As a national sailor, he's ridden the waves of competition and represented India in the J80 World Sailing Championship in the USA (2022) and Spain (2023). Been a part of the Offshore expedition (1000 Nautical Miles) and contributed to the Indian Book of Records, 2023.
He's also received the Emergent Ventures grant (Backed by Peter Thiel Foundation) as their first sportsperson.
So, in his life and sailing, how does he keep his beat? How does he keep his rhythm?
